The first ICSEMIS was held in Guangzhou, China in 2008 just prior to the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games. In addition to drawing in delegates from over 70 countries, it has attracted delegates from 71 UK Universities and colleges and from some of the world’s most prestigious universities including Yale, Harvard and MIT.
